Communications Coordinator - volunteer needed for next season (2022-2023)

Position Description:
The Communication Coordinator liaises with the website provider to ensure information on the website is accurate and timely. The Communication Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and posting information throughout the season and working with the other coordinators and scheduler to make available important information for all players and coaches. The Communication Coordinator resolves problems with the Goal-Line player registration system and the merchant account as well as coordinating communications through the website portal. The Communication Coordinator is responsible for updates to the annual registration forms and registration posters and for surveys to parents and coaches.
Other duties of the Communication Coordinator include:

• Works closely with Registrar.
• Coordinates a series of email messages to all previous season players and parents to advertise the registration period of August 1 to October 1. The email messages are sent out through the Age Group Coordinators on or about July 15, August 1, August 30, September 10 and October 1.
• Monitors, responds or forwards inquiries from info@reginaindoorsoccer.ca email address.
• Maintains domain registration for http://www.reginaindoorsoccer.ca website.
• Maintains contract for web hosting service.
• Updates and produces communication tools such as parent recruitment poster, issue or event posters that are posted online and within the school gyms.
• Revise frequently asked questions document that is posted on website.
• Coordinates a series of email messages to all players, parents and coaches through online registration database.

Position Special Qualifications – must have website administration and corporate IT experience.
